BIOGRAPHY
Nicole has been surrounded by all types of racing and engines her
entire life. Her father, Bob Dee had a long, illustrious career
racing hydroplanes in the early seventies and owns a machine shop
in the Buffalo, NY area (Northeast
Machine). Her brother Don owns and builds car #01, a Can-Am
TQ Midgets Indoor Champion in Niagara Falls, NY. In 1987 Nicole
tried her hand at go-kart racing, but the demands of her activities
as a swim team diver (3-time MVP Diver at Buffalo State College),
her college education and her travels with her brother to his races
in Canada, caused her to give the sport up. It wasn't until 1995
that Nicole became interested in the possibility of racing motorcycles
after touring the streets of Daytona with local riders. After several
track days Nicole decided to take a chance on racing. That chance
is now paying off. In her first season she displayed her talents
and abilities on the track. Racing her 2000 Aprilia RS 250, Nicole
had consistently placed in the top five in her races, which placed
her among the top ten riders in overall points in two separate classes.
In October of 2006 in the Inaugural 8 Hours At Daytona, riding for
TeamHurtByAccident.com, her team took the ST class win.
Nicole's long term goals for racing are to secure winning partnerships
with corporations that will help her achieve her championship goals
and to be a successful racer. "My goal is to keep challenging
myself each time I go out on the track and to get faster. I hope
that someday translates to successes for my team and wins."
When Nicole is not on the track she works for NASCAR in their Brand
& Consumer Marketing Department, responsible for managing Web
sites for industry partners. Nicole graduated with a B.S. in Business
Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo,
and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Stetson
University in DeLand, FL. Nicole is an active member of the American
Marketing Association in Central Florida. She is a former President
and has served as VP Collegiate Relations, VP Special Events, Chair
of the 2003 Annual Scholarship Fundrasier and Chair of the 1998
CEO & Marketers Forum.

NICOLE HOFFMAN, NATIONAL CHAMPION!
October 2004: Nicole won the Amateur Ultra Lightweight Superbike
National Finals and was crowned the 2004 National Champion. Needless
to say she was ecstatic and at the brink of
tears when she took the checkered flag after leading the entire
race ahead of her nearest rival James Hillis of BGV Racing (SE Regional
Champion). Her race was delayed due to a rain storm which forced
competitors to choose their tire selection based upon the prior
race (GTU EX) being declared "wet". Some racers opted
for full rains, slicks or in Nicole's case Michelin Pilot Race M2
DOTs. James chose full rains, but the track nearly dried completely
and in all probability chewed his tires to shreds. An unbelievable
performance for Nicole which caps off a stellar season for all of
us to be proud and much thanks to all who have supported our adventure
throughout 2004. Read on...
