KRYPTONITE SPONSORS NICOLE HOFFMAN

Canton, MA July 19, 2007 – Kryptonite, a brand within the Security Technologies Sector of Ingersoll Rand Company Limited, announces a sponsorship agreement with motorcycle endurance road racer, Nicole Hoffman. A member of Team Rightsforbikers.com, Hoffman competes in the SunTrust MOTO-ST series. She will next compete with her team at 8 Hours of Daytona Finale.

“Kryptonite is building a team of talented, personable, authentic individuals to represent the Kryptonite brand as they pursue their particular action sports activities,” said Dwight Gibson, General Manager of Kryptonite. “Nicole was a clear choice to join this team because of her talent and drive to be the best on the track. We found that she is a natural compliment to both Bob and Dave as a member of Team Kryptonite.”

Hoffman won the National CCS Ultra Lightweight Superbike Championship in 2004. She was part of the 2006 winning team in the Inaugural 8 Hours at Daytona and has placed second in the Formula USA Team Challenge. Nicole and her team are currently competing in the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series, an endurance racing series for V-Twin motorcycles. Nicole competes on a Suzuki SV650.

Hoffman joins legendary custom motorcycle builder Dave Perewitz and former pro cyclist Bob Roll on Team Kryptonite. The company has enjoyed multi-year relationships with each of these men.

“I am proud to be a part of Team Kryptonite and represent this strong brand,” said Nicole Hoffman. “We trust Kryptonite to secure our race equipment and look forward to working with them over the course of the year. We’ll also help to educate bike owners about the risk of theft and how they can best protect themselves.”

In addition to representing the company at the race track, Hoffman will write for Kryptonite’s new blog, Unbreakable Bonds, where she will talk about the trials and tribulations of racing. She will also make numerous other appearances for the company at trade shows and events.
